Who has been to Keewaydin? There is more to ❤️ now!

Everyone's favorite "secret" island beach in Rookery Bay Research Reserve is getting wider! Recently, Rookery Bay's Research team mapped the changes with GPS of the southern end of Keewaydin Island and saw significant changes from last year. The beach is much wider with more sandy spots for sunbathers and shellers alike. Coastal areas and barrier islands in SWFL are constantly shifting and changing. The sand and sediment is affected by rising tides, currents and storms.
