Sometimes when you just sit at idle, nature comes to you. No need to chase it. Pretty sure this is calf "Zoomie" and Mama. This little one is very curious and full of antics. Body Language is a real thing with the dolphins too. You can sense how comfortable they are with your presence, and when they are not. It is very important to pay attention to their body language and respect their boundaries. Today, these two decided they wanted to play a little. Zoomie more than mom, but they did jump a few times for us and then swam off. (Of course I didn't get that on Video, as it was very brief). The 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge is a magical place, but it is a wildlife refuge, and the dolphins are wild.
