any horse lovers out there....? Can you help us?
Here's Anya and Surely. Neither girl grows a very thick coat, but both are shedding nonetheless, and at that awkward stage where they just look scruffy! On the other hand, veritable blizzards of hair are coming off other horses. I need someone to help me with my used/donated clipper - I think the blades I have for it are very dull. Is there a way to get them sharpened? Some of the horses have such big mats, I'd rather Clip them off than fiddle with them forever. Or, do I have to find a source to buy new ones? It's a whole little assembly.... I'm betting every person reading this knows more about clippers than I do. Anyway, hair piles all over the place, maybe (just maybe) the hormonal behavior is easing off a little, and life goes on. We may have some news next week. We're very close to getting our huge hay delivery - I'm still hopeful that anyone who can might donate what you can to help that enormous expense, particularly when I also need another pellet delivery (Approximately $3,000) in the next 10 days. Babies gotta eat! I know, probably every rescue is trying for your donation dollars for just this expense. The thing is, right now hay is plentiful and excellent in quality, and lower in price per bale (buying end of summer is MUCH more expensive, for instance, and forget about winter hay costs!) So we're all trying to spend your donation dollars responsibly - getting the best possible deal... Any donation would be so gratefully accepted! Paypal addy: [email protected]
