Here, you’ll step back in time to the 1950s and enjoy a classic American diner experience. It kind of feels like you’re in a scene from the old TV show “Happy Days”!

From burgers to crispy onion rings and thick milkshakes, Mel's offers a menu filled with our favorite comfort foods. It’s pretty ideal and a safe bet for the whole family.

If you love resort activities, this might be one that you didn’t even know existed: Kukui Nut Leis at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This is a paid activity where you choose from a variety of colored beads to create a custom lei. The tool to help place the beads can be a little tricky for little fingers, so plan to have some extra helping hands around especially if you have multiple kiddos.

This just looks like a really cool table right? But, It's a BED! Say whaaaat...😮
The Family Suites at the Art of Animation Resort, sleep 6, and have three separate sleeping areas, including this double-sized Murphy Bed. Just move the chairs and pull down. Voila! And, you will also find a hidden character inside!

As if that wasn't enough...it also has 2 BATHROOMS! AND direct access to the Disney SKYLINER! The Art of Animation Resort offers family suites in the Finding Nemo, Lion King and Cars themed sections; while the Little Mermaid section only offers standard rooms.

TIP: If you need a break from the Universal Islands of Adventure crowds (and a good, semi-private bathroom to boot) head into the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. There's food, gifts and hands-on experiences; it's like a museum in a theme park! I don't want to spoil anything, but among all the gems found here, you can catch a dinosaur egg hatching! 😲

Hollywood Scoops has been a Sunset Boulevard staple since 1994. It's the perfect spot to grab a treat after braving Tower of Terror or Rock 'n Roller Coaster. Or, even to grab a snack before heading to watch the Beauty and the Beast or Fantasmic shows!

Whether you're ordering room service, having snacks by the pool or sitting down for a multicourse dinner, it is all included. After a day on Castaway Cay would you rather order room service or have a proper dinner in one of the three rotational dining rooms?

🦁 The Animal Kingdom Lodge exudes luxury, style and brilliant Imagineering. From the zero-entry pool, to the savanna views, animal encounters and everything in between, a stay here should be on everyone's bucket list.

There are also 2 sections at AKL... the Jambo House and Kidani Village. I have personally stayed on the Kidani side, and absolutely LOVED it. Let's chat about which one is right for you and your animal-loving family!
