I have grown up in the POC area and fish in all the connecting satellites depending on weather and time of year. You will not only take home some fish to fry but also a wealth of knowledge about fishing. These trips will be catered to suit any style you and your friends and family want to fish.

We are not very far away from the beginning of big duck season.
Youth/Veterans - Oct. 26th and 27th
Big Duck/Geese - Nov. 2nd to Dec. 1st
Second Split (Big Duck/Geese) Dec 14th to Jan. 26th
If you are interested in having a great experience and gaining a lot of knowledge on waterfowl hunting you need to come and hunt with us. I promise you will leave a better hunter and have more knowledge on waterfowl when you leave. The best part about being a waterfowl guide is sharing the knowledge that has taken us years to learn with you. Let us take care of the scouting and placing you in the correct position to be successful. We believe in conserving our resources and leaving it better than how we found it. If you by some chance do not believe that we have done everything possible to insure that you had a great experience I will gladly refund you with another opportunity to ensure your satisfaction. It is hunting and not killing and the birds are truly wild and have the ability to go where they want when they want.

Let’s not forget about gun maintenance and gun cleaning before this next dove and waterfowl season begins. There is nothing worse than looking forward to opening day all year and your gun malfunctioning on the first bird or first flock. Tear em down and give them a good cleaning. With the way these shotguns are manufactured now it is very easy. I promise that you will regret it if you do not take care of these easy step and you miss fire on the first bird or group of birds. Had some fun with the girls Thursday night. We released all the big ones and they kept a few small ones for dinner. I have been running jug line trips this summer and it has been very consistent. We fish from dark to midnight to avoid the wake boats and jet skis. Two people for 300.00 is a great way to put some fish in the freezer and beat the heat and the crowds. Send me message if you are interested. Duck season is fast approaching! I will be running teal hunts as well starting on September 14th. I still have plenty of dates available. This years teal season runs from September 14th to September 29th.

Count down is on. I am tired of this heat and ready for the first cold front of fall. My books opened today for this upcoming teal season and big duck season. We will find the birds regardless of what the area lake levels are. All I can say is if we do get a big rain before season opens it’s going to be epic with the amount of cover and food we have growing.

Yesterday’s sunset after catching some bass. Had a good time other than almost being thrown out of my boat by wake boats. Very blessed that my family in Port O didn’t get a lot of damage from Beryl. Those of you that were not so lucky we will be praying for you. It’s all ready hard enough to live with the cost of everything.
