On Veterans Day we offer a friendly reminder of Marion's outstanding tributes to Veterans.

Veterans Park, on the corner of Delaware Avenue and McKinley Park Boulevard, is dedicated to “Remembering Soldiers Past and Present.” Providing an opportunity to better understand history, Marion’s park is recognized as the Nation's first veterans’ memorial park. It includes monuments to every American conflict—from the Revolutionary War (1775-83) to the ongoing Global War on Terrorism.

The Soldiers and Sailors Chapel and WWII Veterans Memorial are additional tributes to our Veterans. These are located inside the Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Avenue.
