Happy new years to all our fishing friends.

Putting our new MAGS Custom Rods power noodles to work this morning. They are such an effective rod for pan fish. With a very sensitive tip and strong back bone it's a perfect setup.

Glad we made the switch to all mags rods for the new year.

Hope everyone is excited for fishing in 2025.

These warm days have me dreaming about big kings on open water. Counting down the days till we put the boat back in the water.

Anyone ever catch a derp gill like this one lol. Share some photos below if you got them.

This little guy must have fought many battles along the way.

We have been crushing blue gills and crappie these past few weeks while we chase big inland lake northern pike and walleye.

Next weeks temps look great as the cold front is going to roll back in. Be safe out on the ice till then my friends.

Great first day back out on the ice, this is going to be an incredible year. Mike and Nate caught and kept limits today for a big family fish fry over the Holidays. We released quite a few gills 9” and up aswell. Ice is firming up and lakes that are well inland from the Superior shoreline are ready to fish. Always carry ice safety equipment and use caution when accessing the ice early in the winter.

Well when the boat is away the Captains will play.

We had an excellent first week on the ice and are enjoying the start to winter ice fishing.

Can't wait for the South Shore Fishing Association derby on teal lake.

We are seeing 4" to 5" on most inland lakes enough for walking and small groups. Just a quick reminder as temps get warm today and tomorrow to be careful out there.

Check the ice with a spud as you go out, have a plan, and always be safe out there.

It's a bit to soon for snowmobiles in my opinion but if you do send it make sure to check the conditions of the ice first as we are going to be seeing rain and 40 degree temps over the next day or so.

It been a great week of fish with the warm temperatures and beautiful fall colors. As we continue to put good fish in the cooler we have just a few open dates left for the season.

If anyone is looking for one last ride out we are here for you till October 28th.

Weather ahead looks great and we are ready for an adventure anytime.

Great to have friends out. My neighbor jim was so excited to have a chance to fill his freezer and we sure got into some nice fish yesterday.

Best time of year to fill the cooler with superior trout.
