“A Mississippi River Adventure on the Maiden Voyage”
Shuttle leaves Osborne Park at 10:45 a.m.
Early Reservations Required

Osborne’s next Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls program will be on Tuesday, August 20th. This month’s program is “A Mississippi River Adventure on the Maiden Voyage”

Join the O.W.L.S. as we charter the Maiden Voyage for a fun afternoon on the Mississippi. Captain Robert Varva does an excellent job as captain, storyteller, and adventure leader. Participants will learn about commercial fishing, clamming, early explorers while viewing wildlife up close and personal. The tour will start with an amazing Mississippi fish fry on the dock before departing on the voyage.

Participants may wish to bring:
Sunglasses or hat
Sunscreen (boat has a canopy),
Bug spray
Comfortable river shoes
Water bottle

This all-afternoon trip will leave from Osborne Park at 10:45 a.m. and the shuttle will return to Osborne around 4:00 p.m. Reservations are required at 245-1516 so call early to ensure a spot.
