Our final day and night on the Disney Wish may have been my favorite (apart from the canceled flights and having to pack and say goodbye).
Our day was spent at Castaway Cay. First my roommate got up and ran the 5K and brought some yummy churro Mickey waffles back to the room for us to share before we headed out to land. We did some snorkeling (pretty tough with the winds from Hurricane Debby showing up) and then went out to Serenity Bay - the adult only beach. I got to see a stingray while snorkeling, and then while we floated in knee-deep water we sat another large stingray and what we believe was a nurse shark!🦈
We headed back to the ship and spent some time in the rainforest room and I had a Reflexology spa treatment that was fantastic!
Dinner for our final night was in world of marvel, which I was so excited for. The food was excellent and the show made it even better! (Peep those Marvel ears in the last photo which will make a second appearance later this year at the Avengers Campus! 😍)

Day and night two of my Disney Wish cruise was filled with amazing dining and some spa time!
We started with a delicious latte at the adult, only Cove Café, and then had a two hour leisurely brunch at Palo steakhouse which is one of the adult only dining venues on the ship.
In the afternoon, we took advantage of the rainforest room, which we had purchased a length of cruise pass for. The spa on this ship is the epitome of relaxation!
That night, dinner was in the classic dining room 1923. It also happened to be “pirate night” so we had to do some matching pirate accessories, of course!

A week and a half ago I was able to sail on the Disney wish with two very good friends of mine. It was fun to experience Disney Cruise Line with an adult only twist two our trip.
One of the highlights of the trip was the dining. Disney Cruise Line offers rotational dining so we were able to experience three different themed dining rooms during our three night cruise: Arendelle, 1923 and World of Marvel.
Arendelle was our first night, and the food, entertainment and entire experience were just superb!

Friends and family- Colin and his friend Carter along with some other members of the Mars Hockey team are hosting a fundraiser for the Mario Lemieux Foundation this Thursday from 6-9 PM at Mars-Bethel Golf. Joe from Mars-Bethel was very generous in allowing the boys to use the course, and also to give all the fundraiser proceeds to the Foundation.
The weather looks perfect!!!
There will be a 50/50, a basket raffle and 2 silent auction items. They have lots of amazing baskets donated by local families and businesses. The silent auction will include 1) an autographed Mario Lemieux puck set basket, and 2) a pickle ball net and paddle set valued at over $250.
