That's our driver, 'Glenn double n' tellin some tall tales. He keeps us laughing but is also the one I bounce ideas off of, text about routes and timing even when I'm back home across the sea. We are fortunate to have a coach company like and their amazing drivers. It's one less thing to worry about in that big tour to-do list 🙏🚍🤗

Relaxed nights are always a special part of each tour. They often begin with a fire by the river, then friends, sometimes stories, a guitar or two, maybe a fiddle, laughter, song, sharing of the mind and heart. Maybe you'll come along next time?

The past two tours in a row, first a Photography tour and now, a Music Tour have been with the tour host. Our tour hosts aren't tour guides. They bring their fans and friends and experience Scotland along with them, but over time, they get to know our friends in Scotland and learn about this special place themselves. If you don't know Jonathan's music, check him out. He's an amazing songwriter and musician and so great to travel with. He and I are planning another Photography tour in 2026 to visit Skye, Lewis and Orkney with a list of people just waiting on me to sort the itinerary so they can book. It's so lovely to travel with open hearted souls who are receptive to the magic and surely find it at every turn. I don't pick favorites but these past two groups have been a dream ❤️

Sometimes when I'm in Scotland in between tours, I go to hidden places or meet with friends; and I wish I could share it all with a small group of women. That's why I created the Women's Tour and an amazing group has already registered. Hotels are asking for final numbers so I'll need to close registration soon. I walked along the river then cut through to Birnam today, had such a lovely time! That reminds me of an FAQ. I'm often asked what to read to prepare for a tour to Scotland. There's a growing list of books on the website but a much more important preparation is to WALK. Walk a lot, walk upstairs and downstairs, up hills and uneven paths. And keep doing it. I don't want you to miss a thing (and many hotels don't have elevators). We started walking but didn't know where. It was warm and sunny and the breeze felt good. Some days are so simple but they tick all the boxes. We ended up at #lochofthelowes wildlife reserve and learned all about ospreys before walking back through forest and field to just 'be' in this perfect place.
