Ricky Weeks made a deep connection with his son Christopher, who is affected by autism, through their mutual love of the beach and surfing. Christopher’s love of surfing and the bond that has formed between father and son inspired Ricky to found Autism Surfs LLC. Ricky's vision is to share the experience of surfing with other families affected by autism and make a difference in the lives of famil
ies and individuals living with autism. With the help of some amazing surfers from the local region, Autism Surfs has already had a lasting impact on families living with autism along the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida. Ricky is committed to creating summer camp opportunities and events along the Emerald Coast so that children with autism have the opportunity to participate in the sport of surfing.
