Hello I am Mark The Gypsy Mover some of may know me by Mark Park I am a passionate well respected Structural Mover who has a mission to help brand and grow our industry. I started in the structural moving industry at the age of 16 years old in 1998 for a small structural moving business located in Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada then later moved on in 2006 to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where I have si

nce worked for three other structural movers, two of them in and around Edmonton and one down in Calgary, Alberta. Between the years of 2007 and 2012 I ventured away from the structural moving business to gain other experience in other fields such as i owned my own sub contracting business doing basements and foundations for residential and commercial buildings. Then I went of to learn and do cultured stone and brick work. After that then i went off to do cedar shake roofing and siding followed by an apprenticeship in diesel mechanics rebuilding diesel engines. Even though during these years that I went off to gain other skills I still stayed actively involved in the structural moving industry by being involved in various projects through out the years with previous employers as well as followed many movers and read the books and magazines. 2012 was the year I entered back into the structural moving industry as this is where my passion is and I'm here to stay. In 2017 My adventures have now taking me to the West Coast of Canada where I am working with one of the Industry leaders Nickel Bros. I network daily and am in touch with hundreds of movers from around the globe and have been told I'm an Ambassador to the industry, so there for I will bring you news of current jobs that I am working on as well as sharing the amazing stories and jobs many others are working on. With the mission in mind to spread the word about our Amazing industry and help brand what we all have! My belief is there should be no competition but healthy competition we all as an association and as an industry need to work together to grow our industry into something really Amazing!
