The 26 foot, 35,000 pound statue, “Embracing Peace” is on display at Memorial Park in honor of its 75th year anniversary. This traveling exhibit was brought in from New Jersey to be displayed for 6 months before it goes to Orlando.
This was our greeting to “The Polish Home” for a traditional Polish dinner with sausages, pierogis, cabbage slaw, and poppy seed cake. The accordion player, Tom Jadlowski, gave a historical/geographical presentation on the country’s border changes and freedom.

St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Omaha, NE
A tour of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church featured beautiful wall paintings of Saints. Formerly a Jewish Synagogue, it was purchased in 1952 by the Greek Orthodox residents.

Folks, Ticket Master contacted me regarding tickets to the Super Bowl Game. Nose bleed section starts at around $4079 and 25 yard line is &12,777 and I am not sure what level that is on! No Super Bowl for True Travels! I also heard that a hotel that advertises for $50 per night is $1500 during that time!
Sometimes it is the people you sit by that provide the best entertainment!
