Our Story
"Ag Wheels Made Easy" is an idea that has been brewing for a number of years fueled by a desire to simplify the search and buying process of replacement wheels for agricultural equipment. The challenge: How do you document the vast knowledge of those few individuals who have spent the greater part of their lives matching wheels to models of tractors, combines, sprayers, skid loaders, etc. to keep our agricultural producers moving forward? The growth in popularity and usage of the internet and E-commerce became the venue to make this idea a reality.
Knowledge
I have spent my entire life working in the agricultural wheel business. As a young man I worked alongside my dad as he widened wheels in our garage and then went on to work in the welding shop of our family wheel business. I served as president of that successful company for over 25 years. That's where I met Jon Hanson whose wealth of knowledge and expertise began as a teenager in his family's tire store. He too learned to modify wheels in the store's welding shop, and our paths crossed as the two businesses moved in a similar direction. I was fortunate to hire Jon, and we worked together for 20 years during which time Josh also joined the company workforce. He grew up using agricultural equipment on his family's farm, and for nine years in the warehouse he made sure wheel shipments were accurate and safely wrapped.
