Ag Wheel Express and COVID-19. Ag Wheel Express is a family company, and as such we are able to follow the CDC guidelines for businesses and employers while remaining open in our Mason City office. Kelvin, Lisa and Ryan are immediate family, and Jon works from his home. While in our office we are emphasizing basic infection prevention measures for ourselves, our customers and our vendors.

Our primary supplier is Titan International and they have communicated the following: "At this point we are more thankful than ever to be a company that produces American engineered, American manufactured tires and wheels. Currently, we are not experiencing any infrastructure or supply chain issues that could impact the fulfillment of your orders."

We are also fortunate and very appreciative that all of our freight carriers are running their normal schedules. As long as they continue to do so we will maintain our normal hours and fulfill orders as quickly as possible. If restrictions are enacted in our county, we will update you with the operational changes. We pray that our customers across the country stay safe and well throughout this trial.

Kevin from Massachusetts wrote: "My front rims on my John Deere 870 started to crack between stud holes. After welding a few times found that OEM rim material was just too thin for front axle torque. I found AG WHEELS on the web and gave Jon a call. He told me their inner rim was custom made and about twice as thick as original. I ordered two new rims with shipping at a price point significantly less than two new inferior OEM rims. Customer service and knowledge of my specific rim was excellent. Jon made you feel like a friend not just a customer. The one thing in my opinion that needs to be looked at is packaging. Rims are very well manufactured so packaging should be to!" Thanks Kevin for the feedback. We never shy away from suggested improvements. The addition of industrial bubble wrap to our packaging resulted from listening to our customers.

Our Story

"Ag Wheels Made Easy" is an idea that has been brewing for a number of years fueled by a desire to simplify the search and buying process of replacement wheels for agricultural equipment. The challenge: How do you document the vast knowledge of those few individuals who have spent the greater part of their lives matching wheels to models of tractors, combines, sprayers, skid loaders, etc. to keep our agricultural producers moving forward? The growth in popularity and usage of the internet and E-commerce became the venue to make this idea a reality.

Knowledge

I have spent my entire life working in the agricultural wheel business. As a young man I worked alongside my dad as he widened wheels in our garage and then went on to work in the welding shop of our family wheel business. I served as president of that successful company for over 25 years. That's where I met Jon Hanson whose wealth of knowledge and expertise began as a teenager in his family's tire store. He too learned to modify wheels in the store's welding shop, and our paths crossed as the two businesses moved in a similar direction. I was fortunate to hire Jon, and we worked together for 20 years during which time Josh also joined the company workforce. He grew up using agricultural equipment on his family's farm, and for nine years in the warehouse he made sure wheel shipments were accurate and safely wrapped.

Today we find ourselves working together in a new company with a shared vision to reinvent the selling of the wheel. Throughout our years of experience in this industry, the one thing that hasn't changed is the desire of agricultural producers to modify their equipment performance by changing tire and wheel sizes. We intend to make that process easier.

As Lisa and I have told our children, integrity is the only thing that can't be taken from you which is why integrity is so important to the foundation of Ag Wheel Express. Jon, Josh, Lisa and I share a unique desire to serve customers and solve problems. Honesty is a must. With E-commerce our prices are public domain. You will never have to wonder if the store or farmer down the street or two states away is paying the same price you are. We may not always stock what you need, but we will do everything in our power to help you find it. When we find it, we'll get it to you in the quickest, safest way possible and track it until it reaches its destination. Never hesitate to bring a problem to our attention. Your trust is our goal.
