Mornings here at Grandma Patty's House are my favorite. I highly recommend to guests to set up a chair and take in the backyard symphony. Birdsong, squirrels chittering, chipmunks rustling in the trees and occasional buzzing of a bee. The view isn’t bad either. 🏡🌲🌳☀️🕊️🦅🐿️

The colors are ready to peak!

Fall Color Update:

A string of cool nights has lead to a majority of trees starting to or progressing on changing colors. The trees in the west half of the Ottawa are nearing 75-80% peak, and decreasing in color as you head east. That being said, most of the forest has at least 50% color.

This weekend and next week will be the best times to get out and see the colors across the Ottawa!
