For 6 yrs. now we've tried hard to put most of the money we've gotten from the vacation rentals of our off-beach place, bk. into trying to make updated, improved & requested changes. It does take time to do so, & it is getting there. 😁

🌊 These are rip currents my friends. We want everyone to have a safe season on the Beach!
Those channelized sections of water are where the rip currents are pulling away from the shoreline. When the Lifeguards advise groups to not swim in particular areas they genuinely mean it. This is our Beach as of this morning and a set up that can continue to produce these currents. If caught in a rip current swim parallel to the shoreline, as you can see you will most likely find a sandbar. Stay as calm as you can, and if you need help wave and ask for it. No need to push your limits! If you’re skeptical about getting in don’t risk it. If you’re a local and experienced swimmer it’s best to stay out of these areas as well. Rip currents can be dangerous to any level of swimmer and we do not want to encourage those that are less experienced.
That’s our go at it on rip currents for the day. Spread your knowledge of beach safety to others and please be ok with letting your Lifeguards take lead. Have an awesome day!!☀️

Here @ the beach house, wking. on the ft. door, where the rains from Hurricane Sally jacked up the frame. Now the meteorologists are saying that another one could be heading this way by this coming Fri. PLEASE PRAY that it doesn't get to hurricane strength & fizzles out! The gulf coast has had way too many over the past few yrs. & it has taken a toll in many areas. They simply don't want/need anymore! TIA for the 🙏!!

Governor Ron DeSantis' executive order states vacation rentals are prohibited. Meanwhile, hotels and motels are still able to operate but some local condo owners say their rental income is crucial.

Effective April 2020, 4 exterior, wireless security cameras were installed on the home. These will not only help us protect our investment, they should also help you, our guests feel more secure knowing that your vehicles, and the doors to enter the home are also being monitored/recorded.
