McCloud is a Winter Wonderland unlike any other...but it’s understandable that sometimes the cold leaves you twiddling your thumbs, wondering what you could possibly be doing to pass the frosty time…
Well for starters, the Mt. Shasta Ski Park is just miles outside of town will be open starting December 15th, and has everything you could need for an enjoyable outing on the slopes, skiing or snowboarding. Rather pick up your gear on the way up? Stop by McCloud Outdoors & Gear Exchange to rent ski and snowboard equipment!
Looking for something away from the crowd? Grab some snowshoes or sleds from the Outdoor store too and head over to McCloud Flats or on up to Snowman’s Hill for a day of laughs with the whole family!
If you beat the snow, take the chance for one last hike out to the falls this year, and let the forest landscape and rushing waters mesmerize you!
