My husband and I LOVED to travel around but once we have twins, we couldn’t go gallivanting around so easily! We decided to open up our own vacation rental in a local resort town we grew up going to called Ocean City, Maryland. Mad Men Beach House was born in January of 2018 and quickly turned into a successful and beloved rental all year round. Not only are we a beach family but a Disn
ey family as well! Mad Men Beach House gave us the ability to open up another vacation rental right next to Walt Disney World in Kissimmee, Florida called Mad Men Magic Kingdom House. This property went live April 2019 and every bedroom has a theme based on the Magic Kingdom Theme Park! You guessed it, the mountains/lake! We wanted to hit our three favorite vacation locations and the final destination was Deep Creek Lake, Maryland! We bought a magical and beautiful waterfront property right at the bottom of Wisp Ski Resort and in the process of our first new build project. We hope to start taking reservations for Mad Men Lake House sometime in the fall of 2020 with our first guests scheduled to arrive sometime around New Years 2021! Our family motto is "first things first". For our family that means God first, then family, then friends and then rest! We are a military family and bleed red, white and blue! Show us your military ID and we would be happy to give you a 10% discount off-season. Our favorite food? You guessed it, Maryland blue crabs and/or crab cakes. If you book with us we will tell you the best places to go for crabs and crab cakes in our host manual in Ocean City and the best place to eat in Disney World and Deep Creek! In general, we just love to be outside and be with people we love. Off-season is a special time, as we get to enjoy the beauty of our locations without all the crowds, hosting friends and family and living like a local! Off-season has some great rates so don’t rule it out y’all! So, that is a little on us.
