My story started when my family found me. Now, I’m along for the ride and sharing my adventures! Hi, I'm Howard! I don't even know how long I was sitting there!

I was sitting on this picnic table at the Saint Edward State Park staring out at Lake Washington. Two strangers were on a morning hike, and they just happened to spot me. At first, they walked on by. But then, at random, they came back. They talked to each other for a moment as they tried to decide what to do with him. Suddenly, they picked me up and said, "He needs friends." Boy, did I ever! They

walked around for a couple of minutes holding onto me, showing me the view of the lake, the flowers on the nearby trail, and then they put me back on the table. I thought, "This is it! I'm going to be here forever!"

But then they picked me up again. "He needs a name." "He's totally Howard. And he's going to be a social media star! Howard, the Hare!"

This was it: my moment! My best moment.
