Who needs a quick beach break? Youāre welcome! š
I specialize in cruise, all-inclusive, & wellness vacations for couples, families, and small groups. So the day after I retired - I did!
(7)
I absolutely LOVE to travel! šš I'm finally retired and can't wait to see the world. My bucket list takes up multiple pages. š¤£š¤£
Because of my love of travel and my constant travel blogs, many friends and family have told me I should become a travel agent. I've been doing lots of training and research, and now it's time to share my knowledge and experience with you. Traveling means researching des
tinations, excursions, travel options, and all the little details along the way. And to make matters worse, life happens and tries to mess things up even when you're traveling. Sounds like hours of research and a big headache to me. I'm extremely detail-oriented; and fortunately, I'm also a strong problem solver. These two strengths combined mean when things don't go quite as planned on your next trip, I can help you get them resolved quickly. You don't have that help when you book things on your own and managing the details without someone in your corner could give you an even bigger headache and ruin your vacation. I'd like to do all of those things for you, headache-free. If your life is pure chaos right now and you have champagne travel tastes on a beer travel budget - Let Me Help! I NEVER CHARGE ANY FEES, and I can save you money. You can be as involved or uninvolved in the planning as you would like to be. Let's get started creating some memories for you one trip at a time! Give me a quick review, if you've traveled with one of my friends and family groups before. Then share my page with anyone you know who likes to travel. Last but not least, click on my website link and check out some of the fantastic deals going on right now, and then drop me a message and let's get you booked!!!

Enjoying a much needed break aboard the MSC Seashore.
I will be taking a much needed time out from the office Aug 11-15 while I take a cruise. š¢š The best way to reach me will be email or text. Responses may be slower than normal. Thanks for understanding sometimes we need to āsharpen the sawā (Steven Covey).
Love this!!! š
And this is why you need 2 things when you travel:
* Travel insurance to allow you to buy new clothes and toiletries when you arrive on vacation and your luggage doesnāt.
*Airtags to help you know where your luggage is located.
Also a win for Team Carryon Only!! š„³
Who needs a quick, last-minute beach getaway? I do!!! Come sail with me on MSC Seashore for an overnight on their private island complete with laser light show and beach dance party! You can't beat these prices - this is the TOTAL for two people!!! š„³š„³ Call today before the ships sails without you! š¢š¢
Youāve all heard about the Microsoft outage I assume. š³ This is just one of the reasons I always process payments at least one week in advance. If you had a payment due today and the systems were down, I think you and I both would be having a heart attack today. š¤Æ
If youāre traveling today, make sure you pack your patience, kindness, and flexibility. Youāll need them all. This outage has caused tons of flight delays/cancellations, and many supplier websites are down which makes assisting passengers a challenge.

Iām a visual learner, so seeing things brings them to life for me.
Iām seeing a lot of people starting to freak out about hurricanes now that we have a named storm in the Caribbean. Thanks Beryl! š¤Ŗ Hereās a few points to remember if youāre cruising in the next few months:
š Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Cruises still go out during these months every year. Cruise cancellations are extremely rare.
š This may be your first hurricane, but it is not for the shipās crew or the cruise lineās management.
š Passenger safety is the #1 concern on any cruise. They will not take you into unsafe water. Yes, thereās been a couple of isolated incidents where a ship got caught up in a freak wave or storm that popped up unexpectedly, but theyāre professionals and do their best to avoid them.
š It may be necessary to skip or substitute some port stops due to storm predictions or damage or the inability of a tender to navigate the rough seas. Thatās perfectly normal and is listed in your cruise contract as something they have the right to do. Be flexible and kind if/when this happens. Itās even possible they would switch from an Eastern Caribbean to a Wetern Caribbean itinerary (or vice versa) to avoid the storm. Iāve personally had that happen. It was a disappointment, for sure, but youāre still on a cruise rather than at work. š¤·āāļø
š Make sure your flight gets in the day before your cruise to avoid a weather related delay causing you to miss the ship.
š Consider trying to change your cabin to a lower deck if the ship isnāt at capacity.
š If you havenāt already, make sure to purchase trip insurance BEFORE a storm is named. Once a storm is named, itās a known peril and would not be covered. Itās just like if you tried to purchase medical/life/trip insurance after you were diagnosed with a health concern. That becomes a pre-existing condition/known peril, and will not be covered.
š Bring seasickness meds even if you donāt normally get sick. Bonine is your best non-prescription bet. Take it before boarding the ship for best effect if you have any concerns. Bring some ginger chews as well. Draw an X on the outline of the side of the ship. Wherever that X crosses is the deck you want to be on. And stay where you can see the horizon. Go inside only if youāre going to be sick and then come back out or back to a window.
šBring a raincoat (think compact Disney poncho style material) and travel umbrella and go enjoy things in the rain if you have to. Dont let the weather spoil your vacation.
š Last but not least, always use a travel agent who keeps up with the weather and cruise line announcements so you donāt have to!!! š¤Ŗ Iāve lived in Florida for 31 years. I know how to deal with hurricanes. I follow several meteorologists and weather pages. I also have contacts within the cruise lines who keep us informed of anything going on and any potential changes.

We had the opportunity to see this when we visited Stockholm in 2018. It truly is amazing to see!!!
The Vasa, a heavily armed Swedish warship, sank in 1628 AD, less than a mile into its maiden voyage due to design flaws. Its top-heavy structure, burdened by 64 bronze cannons, coupled with insufficient ballast, made it unstable and led to its quick demise.
After spending 333 years on the sea floor, it was recovered in 1961 in nearly perfect condition. Now displayed at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, it is celebrated as the best-preserved ship from the 17th century.
The cold, brackish waters of the Baltic Sea played a crucial role in preserving the Vasa and its artifacts, making its recovery and ongoing conservation a significant achievement in marine archaeology.
