On Saturday, the 20th I provided the music at the Wedding Reception for Ashley & Josh at the Winthrop Yacht Club. I think it was the best day (weather wise) of the entire spring. The cool temperatures, the perfect sunset and a lovely couple provided the setting for a wonderful party celebrating their special day. The room was decorated by Wedding Planner, Linda Keogh Vecchia and frankly I've never seen the Winthrop Yacht Club look so good! The pictures below show off her talent and as for the Bride & Groom and all of their guests: They came, they ate, they drank, and most of all partied till late into the night! Best of love to Ashley & Josh.

On Saturday the 13th of May I was at the Winthrop Golf Club with my high school classmates celebrating our significant birthday....which we will all reach sometime this year. To say the least we have a wonderful rapport and share a common bond of the "adventures" we had growing up in Winthrop. The dancing, buffet and lasting friendships made for nostalgic, fun filled night. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLASSMATES!

It is First Communion time and on Saturday I provided music, fun and games for this pretty little angel, Sydney, at Theresa's Hillview Golf Club in North Reading. Dance, hula hoop and limbo contests for the kids in attendance accompanied by a wonderful buffet made the special day a lot of fun for all the families there. It sure is a busy time of year but I love it!

On Friday night, the 5th of May, I once again provided the music for the Boston Collage Chorale at the Hyatt Harborside in East Boston. The energy, enthusiasm, the dancing and most of all their vocal skills all made for a non stop sing fest on the full dance floor all night long. It was their "End of Year" party, introduction of next year's officers and salute to the graduating seniors. It was the type of job that DJ's wish they good have every week!

The Continental On Rt. 1 in Saugus was the site of Annual Spring Gala for North Shore Corvettes on Saturday night. The parking lot was "sparkling" with the shiny and elegant fleet of Corvettes, the guests were representing their club with NSC sportswear and the dance floor was busy all night with rock 'n rollers dancing and singing to their favorite songs. Cruise Nights start on Tues. May 23, at The Sylvan Street Grill in Peabody. Come on by and be amazed at the unbelievable collection of vintage and new Corvettes on display on every Tuesday until Labor Day! Cruising music playing all the time.....What else?

Bear Hill Golf Club in Wakefield, Saturday night was the scene of the "Walton School Spring Fling". It was the annual fundraiser to earn donations to fund field trips, school supplies and an assortment of extracurricular activities for all of the students at the Walton School in Wakefield. Something for everybody......casino gambling, silent auction, raffles, food and of course my music. The organization was impressive and the host of volunteers all knew their jobs. It ran like a finely tuned machine and raised lots of money for the kids. Mission accomplished and all involved had fun doing it! Kudos to the "Spring Fling Committee".

On March 11 I once again had the pleasure of providing the music for the Annual Employees Recognition Dinner for Brooksby Village at The Danversport Yacht Club. What a great feeling it is having 500 plus guests and most of them requesting and dancing to their favorites....a great mix of new top 40, oldies, Latin and all of the line dances. They really work hard all year long to provide the best in care and activities to all of the residents and have earned their night out to celebrate. Thanks for all that you do!

Hey! I've been really lazy about posting and commenting about my jobs...my bad. Here we go! On March 10 I had fun DJing for Gale at her 60th birthday party in the Somerville City Club. The birthday girl and all of her friends danced to the late 70's disco all night long as I fielded requests for "Disco Inferno, Young Hearts Run Free, I Love The Nightlife, and of course, I Will Survive." Lots of "cool moves" and laughter through out the night. Happy Birthday Gale

Last night I played music for the Medford High School Girls Hockey annual fundraiser. WOW! They made a LOT of money by providing hours of competitive fun. Corn hole golf, raffles, food, music and dedication to a worthy cause made for an exceptionally well organized event that was enthusiastically supported by hundreds of faithful hockey fans! The pictures help to tell the story.

Tonight I'll be at the Irish American Hall in Malden for the Medford Girls Hockey Annual Fundraiser doing another fun filled night of Corn Hole Golf Bean Bag Toss Tournament....Lots of fun and a worthy cause. Tomorrow night I'll be at Casey's in Somerville. Hope to see all my friends and regulars enjoying menu items and lots of cold beer as they request all of their favorite tunes.

Occasionally as we go through life we meet people who leave a lasting positive impression on you. Last Saturday nite, the 5th of November at Mt. Hood Clubhouse I played music for the 70th birthday party for Rob & Rosemary. I've known the family for years as my kids went to school with theirs and I've done their family weddings. Their family has grown and their friends are many. The" Love Was In The Air" (song reference) at the party. Great family, great energy and there was lots of hugs and well wishes throughout the night to a wonderful couple.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROB & ROSEMARY!
