A friendly reminder on this , that if you know a travel agent, they are also a small business. Run by a team of one, and often working for an agency that is a small business. And it doesn’t cost you anything more than it would to book directly with whatever destination you’re going to book for your vacation to support them! Especially if you’re looking to give the gift of travel this year!

If you don’t know, now you do! Agents book most often directly through Theme Parks, Cruise Lines, and Resorts for the same price you would find if you were to book yourself. The difference? That vendor pays the agent a commission and you get someone to help you manage details of your vacation and to deal with customer service on your behalf should issues arise. And if you like to do all the planning, you can still do that with your agent there to help if you need.

Not looking to book travel any time soon? You can still support your favorite travel agent by sharing their contact information, services, and interacting with their content, and most importantly, referring them to other potential clients!

After a busy first half of the year, full of travel, it was a quiet summer break at home for me, but not for my clients! Where did they go, you ask?

✨Walt Disney World✨ the R family braved the summer heat (and an encounter with Disco Yeti on Expedition Everest 🏔️) for a week at the most magical place on earth! I was lucky enough to be able to join them for a couple days and spend some time with one of my best friends and my two favorite little girls!

✨Greece✨ The S family got to visit the birth place of all those Olympians that Percy Jackson met while visiting Athens before island hopping to Paros & Naxos! I had so much fun planning this for them since I was just in Greece last fall!

✨ICON of the Seas✨ The S family set sail on the most ICONIC of ships to ever sail the seas! They spent 7 nights on board Royal Caribbean’s newest and biggest ship sailing through the Caribbean. Their trip wins for the absolute most FOMO I’ve ever had following along with a client’s vacation from home.

✨Disneyland✨ before I took my summer break from travel, I got to experience The Happiest Place on Earth with my Disney loving bestie for the first time since 2019! I had a couple other clients visit Disneyland as well and got some great feedback from their days there to help me help you in the future!

Today feels like a great day to remind y’all that I don’t ONLY plan Disney trips (though I do love planning them)! Seeing the original Olympic Stadium from the first modern games (and the birthplace of the marathon) was so cool! Did you know you can run around the track?

Happy Birthday, Disneyland!

I love that so much of Disneyland has remained Walt’s original vision. I love knowing that walking down Main Street is like walking in Walt’s footsteps. And I love the way the rest of the park has grown up around the original parts!

I may be a Disney World-er at heart, but there’s truly no place like the Happiest Place on Earth!

Afraid of missing your workout on your cruise vacation?
Nearly all cruise ships have fitness centers onboard, often as part of the spa complex, and they are always free to use. Many cruise lines position gyms on high decks with panoramic views, though others may be on lower decks. Cruise ships usually also offer a variety of group fitness classes; some are free, while others incur a fee. Classes might include stretching and abs workouts, yoga, Pilates, spinning or other group cycling, or more trendy options like Kinesis, Zumba, TRX suspension training and Tour de Spin. Class space is limited, so you might need to sign up in advance.

One time I did a 6 mile run on the track around a cruise ship! If you’re committed to a fitness routine, you don’t have to be worried about your vacation derailing it!
