Foodie with Passion and Purpose

City Tasting Tours was started from love for the city and food. Owner, Cristina McCarter, is a huge supporter in the local eats movement and decided it was time to take her passion into action. It started with food blogging for a few years and quickly she became the local culinary concierge. She also worked as a culinary guide and would often travel to other cities to experience their food tours. When she launched City Tasting Tours the mission was to take people to hidden gems and local eateries all around the city. Showing off the city through food is first nature to Cristina and now she is ecstatic to do this for a living. Not only does this allow her to pursue her happiness it also allows her to help with the local economy. City Tasting Tours innovatively shows the importance of eating local and introducing people to Memphis’ thriving food culture that doesn’t just include BBQ. Memphis has a lot to offer and this Memphian wants to show you her city while indulging in a few yummy dishes!
