People often ask me how I get paid if my services are free so I thought I’d take a minute to explain. It sound too good to be true but, it is!
1 - My services really are FREE to you BUT you do have to book your trip with me. I do much more than just book your trip. I help with dining, tips, itineraries, price watch, and more!
2 - I don't get paid an hourly rate. If you don't book your trip with me, I don't get paid. I am only compensated on trips booked with me, and only after you return home from travel.
3 - You really don’t pay anything extra! That Disney trip, or cruise, that you can book directly on your own - I could have booked it for the same price! I also can apply new promotions that come out even after you book which often saves you money! By booking with me, you would have helped me build my business, at no additional cost to you. Many don’t realize that the cost of my services are already included in the cost you pay to vacation at these places whether you use me or not. If you aren't using a travel agent, you are actually paying for a service you are not receiving.
4 - When you book with me, you get my planning help, support and experience. I will book your trip, make your payments, book any extras you want such as excursions, etc. I answer questions, and I am available to you if you have any issues during your trip. Even if you enjoy the planning, I don't take anything away from you. I can help as much or as little as you like. I have clients all over the country so we don't have to live in the city.

I’m using today’s flight problem as a tip / reminder:

Today’s global technology outage that grounded all flights drives home an important thing that I stress to all my cruising clients - always plan to fly the day BEFORE your cruise! Flights are unpredictable - but you know what isn’t? The time that ship will pull away from the port, with or without you on it. Always allow the extra day in case you have to throw flight plans out the window and drive.

This brings out another important point - this is one of the reasons that adding travel protection is beneficial. Certain policies cover things like airline delays and cancellations.

Bring home a unique, personalized Disney souvenir. You can paint a piece of pottery at Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. They'll fire it for you, it typically takes a day or two, so plan this experience early in your vacation.

Life happens and I didn't get to post this on the 13th but its too good not to. In 1955 on July 13th Walt and Lilly celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at the soon to be opened Disneyland. The celebration took place in Frontierland at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon and the Mark Twain Riverboat. The invitations are marked with "Tempus Fugit" which is Latin for " Time flies". these invitations went out to 300 family and friends. (invitation photo credit to The Walt Disney family museum)

Keeping with the Disneyland theme let’s talk Peter Pan’s Flight.

Did you know this is one of the original rides from when Disneyland First Opened in July of 1955?
It also uses forced perspective making you feel like you are much higher in the air than the actual 17 feet.
And you better snag a Lightning Lane for this oldie but goodie because it also has one of the longest wait times at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World!Do you love this iconic ride?
