Last night our Warehouse Manager and his wife, Matt and Barnett represented Lippert Flooring And Tile by attending The Community Warehouse - Partners in Hope Program Annual Fundraising Benefit at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield.

Community Warehouse / Partners in Hope is a faith-based organization passionately dedicated to helping the willing men, women, and families impacted by incarceration overcome social, economic and criminal justice system barriers. Partners In Hope program provides opportunities for the successful reentry of those impacted by incarceration.

Matt had the honor meeting with Kent Loehrke, the Board Chair for Community Warehouse during the event. At Lippert, people matter to us, and our desire is to treat all with dignity and respect. If we have an opportunity to help someone change the course of his or her life for the better, we consider it a responsibility and a privilege.

Meet our Veteran Home Recipient: Army SSG BRYAN PRICE
On June 15, 2006, Staff Sergeant Bryan Price was serving in Baghdad, Iraq, with 2/502 Infantry, 2d Brigade, of the 101st Airborne Division, and assigned to a Military Transition Team (Mitt), when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated on the left side of their vehicle. The blast, which was followed by a firefight with insurgents, resulted in shrapnel injuries to his back and legs which caused a spinal cord injury, paralyzing him from the waist down.

Bryan was airlifted to Germany for surgery and later transferred to Walter Reed Medical Center. He eventually went to Fort Campbell where he did physical therapy and gained the ability to walk slowly with a walker. Today Bryan still faces limitations within his current home. It is hard for him to be the dad he wants to be because he is unable to navigate the home safely in his wheelchair.

Our Mission: To help donate and raise funds to For Our Troops so Bryan can receive a specially adapted custom home to help rebuild his life. He looks forward to living his life with ease and feeling comfortable and having the ability to live without fear in his home.

Today is National Purple Heart Day!

Lippert Flooring And Tile would like to honor those who were wounded or gave the ultimate sacrifice, while bravely serving their country. These men and women are awarded a Purple Heart in the name of our President for putting themselves on the line for our country. This award is considered to be the oldest military decoration that is still presented to services members today.

Lippert Flooring And Tile would like to take a moment to bring recognition to the U.S. Coast Guard ’s Birthday. The branch was first founded by the first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, on August 4, 1790. They have kept our nation’s waterways safe and play a critical role in our national security.

Today they have developed sophisticated, effective technology to combat crimes on the water and at our ports. Let’s give the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard the respect they deserve!

WE ARE A BEST PRACITCES ORGANIZATION!

In late April we had the privilege of attending the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) Five-Star Contractor 2024 Awards banquet at Coverings in Atlanta, GA, where various Projects of the Year and other awards were given.

Lippert Flooring & Tile, Commercial Flooring received the Large Commercial Project of the Year - Achievement of Excellence award for our outstanding work on The Trade Hotel, An Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriot. The award recognizes our team’s critical thinking, innovation, ability to collaborate with industry partners, and ability to persevere towards excellence on the project.

Our team rose to the challenge given by the construction team to find suitable alternatives for 84,000 sq. ft. of tile and Cream City thin brick. With help from our industry partners, we were able to reduce costs and maintain an aggressive schedule, completing the project on time and under budget.

Jeff Lippert, Executive Vice President, Lippert Flooring and Tile commented: “I’m very inspired by how our entire team, including our vendors, collaborated to overcome the many challenges on The Trade Hotel project. We consider it a great honor to receive the NTCA Five-Star Contractor Large Commercial - Achievement of Excellence Award in recognition of that tremendous teamwork.”

We would like to congratulate our entire staff and our vendors. Their efforts resulted in a beautiful project that all involved can be proud of.

Lippert Flooring And Tile has been given the honor of recognition by Homes For Our Troops for being one of the Top 20 Fundraisers hosted in 2023!

We are humbled by being recognized by HFOT for the support we have given them and the veterans who have benefited from the work that they do. We are proud to be listed as a top 20 supporter.

We would like to thank everyone who has generously supported our events. For the past 13 years, your contribution in donations, participation, and hard work has impacted over nine veterans and their families Through your support, they were given the opportunity to rebuild their lives with the help of a customized home and so much more!

We will continue to raise awareness and support for Homes For Our Troops and other Veteran organizations. We hope you can join us for our upcoming events and help us raise support for our nation’s veterans!

We are proud to be recognized by Groth Design Group (GDG), for the work our installers did and are happy to have worked with Gerald Nell Inc. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. GDG created a unique flooring design that created a beautiful addition to the overall space. We look forward to working with both of you again.

Easter celebrations will look a bit different at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha this weekend.

The GROTH Design Group (GDG) team is grateful for the opportunity to aid in the design to refresh their space. GDG provided the floor design and approach to the seating layout. GROTH Design Groth Design Group was partnered with a fantastic team for the overall project. Beautiful work by all: GDG -Liturgical Consultant, Gerald Nell Inc. WE EMBRACE CHANGE FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT!

Our Floor Care professionals took the opportunity to attend the Starnet Floor Care Convention hosted in San Diego on February 28-29.

Highlights from the event included guest vendors and floor care members that discussed current standards and opportunities in the market. Key items included how to avoid claims, new directions where manufacturers are taking to produce product solutions, demonstrations of products, maintenance recommendations, and new avenues for members to build their businesses.

The members also had break-out sessions sharing best practices for expanding into new segments, services, hiring and retaining employees, and effective use of technology to achieve top results.

During their time, they also attended optional activities provided by the event including touring the Midway Aircraft Carrier and Seal Tour in the San Diego Bay. Our team had a productive experience and were provided with some adaptive processes and strategies to better and more efficiently serve our clients and grow our business successfully.
