Mentone Vacation Rentals (MVR), also known to many as Chateau de la Famille (house of the family) welcomes guest to its wonderful portfolio of 10 outstanding vacation rental opportunities that offer stunning mountain and valley vistas, giant historic boulder formations, beautiful forested acreage, pond and fountain, homes all with beautiful landscape full of dogwoods, mountain laurel, rosemary and lavender. All of our homes have many wonderful and unique finds of windchimes, planters, statues, yard art and more. These properties offer you peace, restores your soul, replenishes your spirit and renews your relationship(s). MVR is a family/veteran owned and operated business owned by Retired Gen. Joe Cosumano and his wife Chanelle. Together they have combined their 76 years combined work experiences that have led them to offer the highest caliber vacation rental homes that consistently receive 5 star reviews. The Cosumano’s and their dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure their guest have an experience that surpasses their expectations. The difference in staying in an MVR home is that The Cosumano’s are local to their homes and work their business everyday! They are consistently on property, working with staff and continually thinking out of the box on how they can always be better for their guests!
The Cosumano’s only add homes to their portfolio that are the best of the best! Each unique and different from the next. From Estates that can sleep up to 20 guests, a chalet in the forest that steps you back to the town of Mentone, France, a quaint tree house cabin cozy and romantic high in the trees for 2, authentic log cabin on the bluffs edge at the highest point in Mentone, Al. and two very unique mountain lodge homes. Chanelle hand picks each home, then oversees that every detail from the layout and organization, to the furniture and its placement, to every final detail including art from their collections on the walls. Eye candy is everywhere inside and out for their guests!
Each home is spectacular inside with welcoming and beautiful interiors. Two story ceilings with 20’ windows, barn wood walls, wagon wheel and antler light fixtures, hand painted cabinets and furniture by Chanelle and Joe, great antique finds, super comfortable leather sofa’s, hand made log beds with luxury mattresses are just a few special features. Kitchens are fully equipped and have everything a cook will need, including seasonal dishes, pottery pieces, crock pots and special serving pieces. Chanelle handpicks every item to ensure that it is just the way she would like it! Ladies, you will even find vanities just for you to enjoy when getting ready for your day!
