⛰🔥 Yosemite National Park’s “Firefall” is a mesmerizing natural event that takes place in mid-to-late February every year. During this period, the setting sun aligns perfectly with Horsetail Fall on the eastern face of El Capitan. Under the right conditions—clear skies and sufficient water flow—the sunlight illuminates the waterfall, creating an extraordinary visual effect that resembles molten lava or cascading fire streaming down the granite cliff. This breathtaking phenomenon has become a bucket-list experience for nature enthusiasts and photographers from around the world.

📌 Due to the growing popularity of the event, large crowds flock to the Park, prompting the National Park Service to implement a reservation system during the Firefall period. However, visitors who enter Yosemite on YARTS do not need a reservation through NPS!

YARTS Driver Appreciation 🚌⛰️ 🎉

Nicole started driving for YARTS this year. She has had many memorable interactions with passengers in the last several months and enjoys the beautiful views of the drive to Yosemite every day. She takes great pride in providing a safe and comfortable journey for her passengers no matter the weather.

Her goal is to drive on the 395 route for the summer service as she's already driven on routes 120, 140 and the 41. Thank you for all you do Nicole!
