We recently spent 4 nights at Sandals (5 minutes from the airport). JetBlue offers nonstop flights from Boston on Saturdays which is a game changer (Mint class available as well). I had the opportunity to attend an inaugural event in NYC on the beautiful Oceania Vista. This 1200 passenger ship is perfect for those looking for a more intimate, upscale cruise experience. Wonderful staff and service, included specialty restaurants, several bars and entertainment. The cabins are bright and spacious with deluxe bath amenities, robes and slippers (my favorite when cruising). There are lots of activities as well as quiet nooks for those looking to relax. Kicking off 2023 in Punta Cana at the beautiful Hyatt Ziva and Zilara. This is one of my favorite resorts located in Cap Cana (20 minutes from the airport). Spacious Junior Suites, amazing food and service, beautiful pools, water park, side by side adult only and family resorts. Best of both worlds. ❤️

Norwegian’s new PRIMA is definitely a game changer!!

I recently returned from a 4 night inaugural sailing aboard the beautiful Prima (the first of 6 ships in its class). From the amazing service, spacious cabins, 3 level go-cart race track, upscale Indulge food hall, sustainable cocktails at Metropolitan bar, fabulous production shows (Donna Summer Musical and Noise Boys)… there is something for everyone!!

Looking for a yachting experience in Croatia?

We have space available on our August 23, 2023 (7 night) charter aboard the beautiful Lastavica sailing from Split to Dubrovnik. I took this same cruise in May 2022. The ship, staff, and ports are all amazing. Pre/post nights and additional touring can be arranged.

Wrapping up my quick visit to One Happy Island. It indeed lives up to its slogan. The people, beaches, resorts, food.. have been amazing. I’m definitely leaving wanting more!
The Hyatt is still one of my favorite resorts although I was pleasantly surprised by the Hilton. The rooms have been completely renovated and look great. It was my first visit to the Renaissance which is located in town. It’s not on the beach but they have a private island which is beautiful (10 minutes by boat) giving you the best of both worlds.
