This weekend we packed our finest “buffalo plaid chic” and headed to Stillwater, MN to photograph the fundraising gala for Hometown Hero Outdoors, a non for profit that focuses on helping veterans and first responders with mental help via the outdoors. Sharing my talents when I can to help spread the word about great organizations and great people such as these is really important to me. I am NOT outdoorsy, but I can understand the healing powers of the outdoors and friendships with those who understand your trials, especially mentally. Their Website is below for more information. Just hoping we make it out of MN before their snow storm!
