You know, it’s out there.
Those bombs.
Rampant hate.
Sure destruction.
It’s not going to stop.
It’s not going to end.
I know it.
This is foretold.
We will nearly destroy the human race.
But there is hope.
I know this too.
I’m not giving up.
War won’t win.
Oh, it will have its minute victories.
One bomb for another.
One lost man-child after another.
It will continue.
But it will not win.
Because, for every act of destruction.
We find ten acts of kindness.
Fifty acts of love.
And hundreds of acts of beauty and creativity and goodness.
War will not win.
So toss your bombs.
Strap on your su***de vests.
Drone your way into humanity.
But know this:
Love will win.
It already is.
Slowly, silently, persistently, it will seep into every door, window, high-rise and farmhouse.
It will light up the night and shelter us in the heat of the day.
War, hate, destruction…
You have been put on notice…
Your time is short.
The end is in sight.
Your run is nearly over.
Love will win in the end!
