The Getting Unstuck Trancoso retreat has come to a close. It’s difficult to put into words the deep connections made and the indelible mark imprinted on each of us from our time together in Bahia. On Tuesday morning we had our final guided meditation session with .castellanoss and .eliass and it was so amazing and powerful. The meditation was focused on the Cacau fruit. This fruit is older than human life on this planet and it is of critical importance to the people, culture and economy of Bahia. It is also the source of creativity and fertility. We drank the Cacau honey and connected with its energy. Even our music for this session was about the Cacau. This practice also involved movements to release tension in the fascia and sacred rest. We really appreciated the connection to Bahia we were able to make during our meditation and yoga sessions. This is a special place. This was all coordinated for us by Andre, our Latin Exclusive concierge.

We started off the first morning of the Getting Unstuck Trancoso retreat with wellness, which is always a good place to start. .castellanoss and .eliass led our group in a guided meditation focused on the ocean as we could hear waves crashing on the beach. Our practice included movement meant to release tension and pressure in the fascia. I loved the way this session helped me to stay present. Oh and Trancoso is magical!

Our Loiseau Luxe Travel guests are so fabulous! decided to go to Brazil early before our trip. We consulted and she decided on Salvador! We made hotel and tour guide recommendations and Aisha was off! My favorite things are planning fabulous trips for clients and connecting people. 2024 was another year of growth (and lessons learned) for Loiseau Luxe Travel focused on creating lasting communities of support for women and women of color and curating magical travel events for our clients.

We had a fabulous stay @wyndhamgrandbarbados! The resort is brand new having just opened in October 2023. It is the largest hotel property on the island with 422 rooms. Our ground floor room was spacious and accessible. The property is all-inclusive with 3 restaurants, a rum bar and casual, garb and go food and beverage as well. Breakfast at the Mediterranean Market includes made to order eggs and mimosas. The fine dining option at Castle View Restaurant is exceptional with great choices and a swanky bar for pre-dinner cocktails. There are 3 expansive pools with pool bar and food/beverage service. The beach is beautiful but somewhat rough as it is on the Atlantic Ocean side. There is a lot of history at this site with Sam Lord’s Castle (lots of stories of alleged pirates and a mysterious fire). We loved are visit and would certainly return. #barbados #wyndham
