Eroded in de Chelly sandstone, this pothole arch is usually quieter and less crowded than other popular sights in the park: its remote location is considered backcountry, hence only tours guided by the Navajo are allowed to drive in the area.

Color me surprised! 😍

Built during the 1890s, the historic "Painted Ladies" of Alamo Square have become one of the most photographed sites in San Francisco. 🌉

Also known as Postcard Row, these iconic Victorian houses weren't initially as vibrant: their attractive colors were added in the 60s by the local artist Butch Kardum as part of the "Colourist Movement", a creative attempt to revive The Golden City's neighborhoods after the destruction of the 1906 earthquake and fire and the austere grayness of the World War era. 🏘️
