I often find myself daydreaming of Viñales. Slowly, the present world blurs until a new one comes into focus. The sounds around me are replaced with a tussling of leaves from native palms. I can smell the earth. The rich soil that feeds the sugar cane, tobacco leaves, and coffee beans. I see the natural pools rippling, creating larger waves until they lick against the grassy shore. I hold the memory until a subtle noise or motion forces me back into reality. #thecubatraveler
