Hello, my friends & family near City of Clayton, Georgia:
If the North Georgia Highland Games is anything like the Highland Games in Scotland, you'll have an amazing time and connect with your neighbors. https://www.northgeorgiahighlandgames.com/
As a side note:
The Highland Games website states the proceeds benefit Place of Hope. I want to be clear: I do NOT know of Place of Hope, nor have I investigated it. That is your job- it is in your community.
Reason:
Many children are fraudulently removed from their "birth families" in the name of neglect. Then, they are severely neglected, if not killed, or t-ra-f-fic-k-ed by the foster system. By the FBI's own reports, there are over 800,000 children that go missing each year.
What you can do about it:
Everyone needs to be aware and watch out for "non-government organizations," aka businesses that operate as "businesses" to remove children from their birth families in the name of "goodwill."
How To Watch Out For Your Community:
I highly recommend that citizens in each community volunteer for organizations like this to keep a close eye on all service providers for your local department of family and children services. If you have investigative skills, investigate any businesses providing social workers, foster care, CPS, or Family & Children's Services. Enter your city name, then" social workers."
I am not condemning anyone who has adopted or fostered. I appreciate you being responsible caregivers and providers. Just remember: not everyone is like you.
My family members have fostered children and adopted children whose parents were severely addicted to drugs. There is a need for responsible providers with NO hidden agenda. However, the system itself is BROKEN.
