The new Club house and Activity Center are open!! The new splash pad and pedal boats are ready to enjoy as well as the pools, bocce ball, and beach!

For all of you who might be thinking to enjoy a few more days at the beach before it gets cold, we have this weekend October 22-23 and next weekend October 29-30 still available at Beach Nest, Beachwalk, Michigan City, IN. It has been beautiful at Beach walk. We have put in a gas fire pit to keep you warm. We give you a deal. Let's us know if you are interested.

Beach Nest Beginnings...

We both grew up near water, one near the North Sea and one by Lake Michigan. The beach has always been a favorite place for us to relax, search for treasures, and play!

After visiting friends at Beachwalk a year ago, we immediately loved it and began looking for a place. During our first visit to 102 Mary Lane, we found a single, white feather lying on a step. The feather reminded us of wings, wings reminded us of birds, and birds reminded us of a nest. A nest is a place of peace, shelter, comfort, love, family time, and a place to revisit. "Beach Nest" became our name for God's gift to us. Our little "nest" by the beach. We are excited to share our home with you, your family, and friends to create lasting memories together!

Beach Nest is a 5 minute golf cart ride (golf cart provided with rental) to beautiful Lake Michigan. We are just down the street from a fun children's playground with a large slide. There are many amenities to enjoy in Beachwalk: a swimming pool and kiddie pool, a tennis court, volleyball court, children's play area, basketball courts, Lake Kai for fishing and kayaking, The Beach Hut for an ice cream treat, food, and souvenirs, a pond with a fountain, and Central Park for Saturday evening music and a picnic. The Beachwalk Rental office is a 2 minute golf cart ride from our home and can help you with any questions and provide bikes for rental.

Michigan City has much to offer including The Washington Park Zoo, park with picnic areas, shopping at the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets, a beautiful marina, lighthouse, and beach. The Lubeznik Center for the Arts provides interesting things to see and do for art enthusiasts. For those interested in horseback riding, pony and trail rides- Red Arrow Stables provides these services and is only 10 minutes from Beach Nest. The Friendship Botanic Gardens is a short drive from Beach Nest and offers beautiful areas to walk and experience nature. The variety of delicious eateries in the area will surely satisfy your appetite.
