Long Term Freeze Ahead - The next 12-14 days temperatures are forecast to be near or below freezing. We have had skim ice over the Holiday so the river is near its freezing point.

If your vessel is on land, it is highly recommended you check the vessel and ensure water has not collected in the bilge, your scuppers are free of leaves and check your tarps to ensure they are secure. High winds over the past week have loosened some tarps.

If your vessel is in the water, check your batteries and dock lines. All vessels must be double lined!

Ensure your cockpit scuppers are free of debris. Ice may be fairly thick with this prolonged freeze. The last time there was 14 days of freezing temps., the ice was 8-10 inches thick. Once the ice is 1 inch thick, the marina's boats are unable to break thru the ice. Many vessels in the water will be inaccessible in their slip and will not be able to be hauled.

Please check your recent membership email for more details. The office will keep you updated. Check back here on social for pictures once the ice has formed.
