Hope all have a blessed
New Year to come ! Looking forward to my 15th
Season. I'll be offering blue cat trips in early spring.
I put the Galloway Girl to sleep till March.
Working hard on my 32' build. Barrier coated bottom.
Have a 300 hp merc ready to go. Cant wait to turn it over and get started.

Caught some blue cats ! Largest was 40, 35, 30 lbers. Boxed approx 120 lbs and
30 +lbs of fillets. Eels on med spinning rods, pushed them to the limit. Mostly clams in their bellies.
Closer to flipping the 32' build. Little more glass on bow, finish lifting strakes and lots of sanding/ fairing. Barrier coat and bottom paint bottom.

A 40 to 50 lb blue cat caught yesterday 2nd largest for the Galloway Girl. Trying for a 60 pounder. Had alot of clams in its belly. I have availability next Saturday, still eeling for rock and blue cats.
32' skiff build is slow going, most of bottom and sides are glassed less fairing and alot of sanding. Bracket is mostly built alot of glass work yet. I'll be working on the bow this week.

Overflowed the cooler with blue cats over 150 lbs worth.
A 40 lber, 30 lber averaging 20 pounds. Pushed the spinning rods to their limit. Eel bite is still good with rock and great with the blue cats.
Making progress on my 32' build. Bracket needs glass and some extra bracing. Started fairing 80% of bottom. Just back from a Norfolk trip to pick up a 32' to 34' trailer. Leaning towards a new or newer 350 hp yamaha or 400 hp merc. Anyone have a new model?

Sold my 25' parker after 9 yrs. Very Sad day ! It was unforseen and not necessarily for sale, but going to a great home and she"ll fish even more.
20'6" skiff build is for sale.
Still plenty of fish in upper bay to eel on. We had alot of opportunities yesterday catching some rock up to 30'. A couple each of blue, white and channels cats. Just a couple Saturdays open and most weekdays.

Sat 28th available.
Rockfish eel bite has been finominal. Releasing plenty of big rock and boxing some huge blue cats. Plenty of weekdays available.
Streched the 30' build I started to 32' x 9'6" x10". Alot of time and work designing and making changes. Glassed transom and centerline in. Chines are cut and ready to glass in. Boat is flat, level, square, plumb and angles are right. Ready to glass bottom, chines then sides.

Plenty availability during the week.
Picked up a full truck load of plywood okume for the 30' skiff I started to build.
Alot of planning/ engineering as I progress.

Halfway through my 14th season, hard to believe !

Eel bite has been awesome! Nice table fare rockfish and releasing a few big fish. Caught a absolute monster 50lb blue cat and a huge 40 lber. Book a trip before summer is over.

Caught a blue cat pushing close to 50lbs and a 40lber today. Buried out my scale. Had a 10" blue cat in its belly. One had a crab in its belly the other day. These are eating machines. I have seen rockfish, perch, clams, eels, crabs and menhaden so far.
