After being at the Magic Kingdom that past weekend for the tapings, we now know the schedule for the ABC Disney Parks Holiday Specials 📺

- “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” - hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will air at 8:00 P.M. EST on December 1, 2024 🎶

- “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” will air at 10:00 A.M. EST on December 25, 2024 🎄

It is now confirmed that Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will replace Happily Ever After during the final week of the year 🎄 💥

From December 21-29, the party fireworks will take place at 8:00 P.M. Happily Ever After will not take place on these nights and that is now officially on the Magic Kingdom operating calendar 🗓️

The final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is on December 20 🎅🏻

Santa Claus will have a grand stage this year at Disney Springs 🎅🏻

This year, Santa will have an all-new meet-and-greet experience in the old Star Wars Trading Post, which closed earlier this week. 🎄

It is expected that a Virtual Queue will be in place again, due to the popularity of Santa. If you’ve ever had the chance to visit with him at Disney Springs then you know how special and magical and popular it is!! ✨

A start date has not yet been announced. 🎁

I’m so excited to attend this festival for the first time!! Epcot is probably my favorite (if I HAD to pick one) and this festival with food, performers, and artists is going to be so fun!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park will close for an extended refurbishment - of at least a year - on January 6, 2025 🚂

The last day to ride “the wildest ride in the wilderness” before it closes…is scheduled to be January 5, 2025.

As of this time, the attraction is scheduled to reopen at some point in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic.” No other details provided. 🚧
