A week from today!!!

I’m so excited! Over a year ago, I was just hoping to get tickets, and now…I will be at the Indy night 1 show!

🚨Meet my friend, Brook!🚨

She and I were roommates during grad school. We were in grad school during the beginning and peak of covid. She and I had to endure a lot during those times, but they also hold some of the best memories. With her, I flew for the first time, saw the ocean (Atlantic) for the first time, and went to Florida for the first time! I need to share more details of this trip…because it was a bumpy one. What was crazy is that this was when ALL cruise ships were suspended until further notice. It was kind of eery.

Brook and Faith are continuing their adventures a week from today in Indianapolis. It is going to be another trip full of memories.

Cruise ships in the Great Lakes?! YES!

When I was on Mackinac Island a couple weekends ago, I saw this cruise ship. The only cruise line I knew of that came to the island was Viking, but this wasn’t a Viking ship….enter Ponant!

They are a small French ship, perfect for navigating the Great Lakes. To get to the island, they had to anchor further out and tender in. A part of me wants to experience the island in this way….what about you?

World Mental Health Day, a day I am so passionate about!

Did you know that one in ten people will have a mental health challenge? It is so common and it is nothing to be ashamed of. Some of us experience more challenges than others.

We live in a world where people see us as robots with no emotions that can work, work, work until we burnout. It is why I’m so passionate about taking care of yourself and taking breaks! And don’t get me wrong…I’m not good at doing this myself!

I work too much. I don’t take care of myself. I work on vacations. 🤣 part of that is I always want to get good content to share with you all.

So if you don’t ever use your vacation days, you need to! Take a break. Heal your mind, body, and soul with a vacation.

Almost every year growing up, my family and I would go to Mackinaw. I’ve seen the Mackinac Bridge at least 50 times. It’s a marvel for first-timers and for those who have seen it hundreds of times. When you turn the bend and glimpse the tower, there’s a child-like excitement.

This weekend, I get to see this amazing architecture/landscape through someone’s eyes for the first time. I get to serve as a tour guide and show them some of the best spots in Michigan.
