⭐️ 2025 Retreat Day 7 Recap ⭐️

Day 7 was my travel day but was just as eventful as all the other days. Started the morning at the Polynesian Resort to have breakfast at Kona Cafe. I got the Tonga Toast and it was absolutely delicious!! Tonga Toast is banana stuffed French toast covered in cinnamon & sugar and comes with a strawberry compote that you can pour over it.

After breakfast it was time to make the sad trip back to the airport. MCO can be a crazy busy airport but I’ve never really waited in security there. Want to know how to get through security quickly at MCO and some other large airports without paying money? You’ll just have to book your next trip with me to find out all my travel hacks! 😉

I had a great flight back to Lansing on Breeze and still have a full review of the airline and Lansing airport coming soon!

The trip home from the airport was the worst part of the whole trip. It definitely made a great trip end in a bad way. 😔 Not far from the airport, a deer ran out in front of my car and we broadsided it. All the front airbags went off, the windshield busted, and the engine was pushed back in the car along with lots of other damage. My car is most likely totaled ($15,900 is the estimate) but still waiting to hear from the insurance on their decision. Thankfully no injuries though except for the deer. I’ll spare you the details of that though. 😆

So that’s a wrap on this year’s retreat! Thanks for following along and hope you found it inspiring or at least entertaining. I’ve already registered for next year’s retreat and can’t wait to do it all over again! Except the car part 😂

⭐️ 2025 Retreat Day 6 Recap ⭐️

Day 6 of the retreat was so much fun!! The whole day was sponsored by Disney Destinations so you know I was all about it. 😉 In the morning we had training with Disney on all their different offerings. Did you know there is more than just theme parks and cruises that Disney offers? My favorite of their other offerings is Adventures by Disney which offers great full package group tours all over the world.

After our training we all headed outside to take our agency group photo. There were around 1,000 agents in attendance this year so they brought in a boom lift for the photographer to use to get us all in the picture. We also took some team photos before ending our daytime activities.

Before our evening event we took a walk around our resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, and its sister resort next door, Port Orleans Riverside. I love that when you are staying at one of these resorts you can use the amenities from the other one as well.

In the evening we had our closing event which was a blanc party. Wearing all white was the perfect opportunity to eat some Mickey Beignets with friends. 😁 The closing event of course had amazing music, lots of awards, and inspiring words from Travelmation’s founder and president, Adam.

Since this was a day sponsored by Disney Destinations, and we were at Disney World, we had lots of characters to meet at our after party. My favorite of course was Mickey and Minnie though! °o°
