This is a delightful place to stay in the charming town of Milford! It is in a central location - easy to walk into the town and also close to the beach. We were so comfortable in the Boathouse, which is the lower level of a garage on the main property, with a separate parking spot and entrance (and a neighbor upstairs). The Boathouse is spacious and beautifully finished with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space and living room/sleeping area, plus a wonderful large closet for luggage. The mattress is quite firm, which my husband greatly appreciated. The backyard is the true star of the show in my opinion - wonderful old trees, Adirondack chairs, flowers, and friendly chickens in a pen. Our hosts could not have been nicer: they were prompt, thorough and kind in all communication; from leaving the light on for us for our late-night arrival, to lending us beach towels, to allowing us to leave our car parked there after check-out. We recommend the town and the Boathouse wholeheartedly! ✨
