Heather Klein is our year round HFNJ Community Care Coordinator, a position she has held for the past 2 years. This will be Heather’s 18th summer at NJY Camps, 15 of which she spent as a seasonal assistant director at Nah-Jee-Wah. She has three menchy boys who grew up in camp, one who is still a staff member, and an incredible husband who can often be found on the tennis courts. A fun fact about Heather is that she has seen Billy Joel in concert 28 times. Her favorite activity in camp is pottery wheels because she loves to get messy!

Caroline Kramer joined the Camp Nah-Jee-Wah director team as a seasonal Assistant Director for the first time in 2023. Caroline is a second generation NJY Camps lifer. She grew up alongside her three siblings at camp, before making the leap to staff, where she’s been since 2015, holding various leadership hats across our family of camps before her latest destination as Assistant Director.

Currently teaching 1st grade at the Ramaz School in NYC, Caroline dedicates all 12 months of the year to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for all elementary aged children.

With her deep commitment to childcare and her absolute love of all things camp, Caroline is an invaluable member of the Camp Nah-Jee-Wah leadership team!

Justin Grossman will be joining the Nah-Jee-Wah director team for Summer 2024, but this isn't his first experience in camp! Justin has spent the last five years as a Division Head prior to his new role as assistant director.

During the off-season, Justin is an experienced elementary educator. Justin teaches fourth grade in Livingston, NJ. This year, Justin was nominated for the Governor’s Educator of the Year Award!
Whenever he can, he likes to bring a “taste of camp” to his work at school!

Justin looks forward to ensuring that both campers and staff have an unforgettable summer!

We would like to introduce you to our 2024 Round Lake Inclusion Supervisors and Camper Care Specialist!

Our Inclusion Supervisor for Abi, Naomi, and Hannah this summer will be Jess Wajner! This will be her 3rd working for camp. Jess is from New Jersey and a fun fact about her is that she has an off-roading Jeep and spends many of her weekends Jeeping in PA!

Our Inclusion Supervisor for Asher, Dan, and Levi for this summer will be Emily Solomon! Emily was a camper years ago, and is so excited to be back for her first year as Inclusion Supervisor! A fun fact about Emily is that she has an adorable dog named Yophie.

Our Camper Care Specialist for Round Lake this summer is Nicole McDermott! This is Nicole’s 7th Summer with Round Lake and she’s from Scotland. A fun fact about Nicole is that after camp last summer, she swam with Manatees in Florida!

Hannah DH:
Meet Kelsey Kilduff! Kelsey will be spending her 3rd summer at camp! During the year, she spends her time teaching secondary school English and Drama. Her ideal canteen order is a fudge bar and jalapeño poppers. Kelsey’s favorite musician is Taylor Swift and she says her celebrity look alike could be Carrie Underwood! It’s going to be a great summer in Hannah!

Levi DH:
Meet Jack Feehan! Jack will be spending his 10th summer at camp! During the year, he spends his time as a line manager of pool/ activity center and he’s a future teacher! His ideal canteen order is a Pepsi max and jalapeño poppers. Jack’s favorite musician is Alicia Keys and he says his celebrity look alike is Jack Black! It’s going to be a great summer in Levi!
