It’s a great day to say CONSTRUCTION IS STARTING on the EVENT VENUE! We had some challenges with architecture, engineering, permitting, and supply chain (…and the budget 🥴), but are finally back on track!

What we expect the next few weeks:
⭐️ Posts and Underground Utilities this week
⭐️ Septic and Framing next week
⭐️Trusses and Roof the two weeks after that
🎄Christmas Break

We’re celebrating 6 MONTHS of ownership today! While we fully anticipated construction being complete by now…it’s not! We should kick off the last (and biggest!) part of our project in the next week or two🤞🏻

It’s fun to look back at our before pics and we’re so thankful for all the afters we’ve accomplished!

✅ The Hilltop House is completely renovated inside and out, including a new roof and exterior paint. It’s 😎looking good!
✅ Our Glamping Yurt got a facelift outside, too, AND an addition with full Luxury Bath 🛀
✅ We updated and added signage throughout the property to help our guests ⬇️➡️⬆️⬅️⤵️ navigate. Thanks to my crafty aunt for allllll the vinyls!

Whelp…in the category of you never know what to expect in your day as a business owner: this used to be two large rolling trash cans and a large blue recycling can. Thankful for the drizzling rain, our amazing neighbor, and Jordan Biel’s quick response!

Also, adding to our list of “House Rules” for visitors: please don’t throw away burning charcoals in garbage bins!

Since we love our holiday fireworks, we came outside early to see any fireworks shows from the Hilltop House patio tonight. While waiting, we were rewarded with a beautiful view: glamping yurt, path lights, and the sun setting 😍

We've had an awesome and productive few weeks! Grading is now complete for our Event Center, gardens are (mostly) planted, and our Fire Pavilion got a furniture upgrade. We can't wait to host some family and friends in the coming weeks! Thanks for your support!

We love our Fire Pavilion! Our favorite time is during a rainstorm: listening to the pings on the metal roof and enjoying time together with family and friends. What's your favorite way to pass a summer night?

🎉We’re getting ready to kick off Week 3 of Construction tomorrow! 🎉

Weeks 1-2 have been focused on clearing, grading and graveling. Big progress in just 7 days of work…these 📸 are from the same spots as our recent update with some new ones mixed in (the last two show a glimpse of The Main House, which is under renovation too!)
