Travel
If you could go visit anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Where’s your happy place? For me, it’s when I’m escaping the stresses of being a teacher by spending time with my family. I love getting as much quality time in with them while they are little. No matter where we go, whether it is weekend trips to nearby cities, thrill-seeking at Walt Disney World, or learning about the animals of our Earth, the best part is always making memories as a family. How about you? What’s your happy place?
You won’t find anything like Park Güell anywhere, and it’s one of the most unique parks on the whole planet. In 1984, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) went further, and declared it a World Heritage site. It was a labor of love for Gaudi and it is a literal feast for the eyes. You could spend hours exploring the vibrant mosaics, and colorful fountains and did I mention the spectacular views of Barcelona from up there?
Only 400 tickets are available for Park Güell every half hour and it sells out well in advance, so this is one of many things I can book as part of your Barcelona itinerary. If you’re ready to explore the wonders of Gaudi, and the rest of this intriguing city, give me a call.
Lisbon is a good choice no matter the season
Best times to visit Lisbon
What’s the best time to visit Lisbon? It depends on the type of vacation you’re looking for. For those who like milder weather and fewer crowds, March to May and September to October are a great time to visit. If you’d like to enjoy the beach, summer is the best time to soak up the sun and sand. But don’t write off winter, the temperatures are warmer than most European cities and there are lots to explore and do, including Christmas festivities that take over the city in November and December. Pick your season and I’ll help you plan an unforgettable trip. Contact me for Lisbon tour packages.

Mexico
Mexico is a treasure trove of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with a whopping 27 in all across the country. 10 cities are considered world heritage sites all on their own — Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca and Campeche are just a few. The holy city of Teotihuacan which was thought to be built between the 1st and 7th century AD is another noteworthy site. It’s loaded with ancient relics and sacred sites dating back to some of the earliest accounts of civilization.
Santorini: Fun for the Whole Family
Santorini is such a dream. You won’t be able to get enough of the caldera views, the sunsets, hikes, boat tours, local wines, black volcanic beaches, and some of the most luxurious hotels along the Mediterranean

Iceland
Skógafoss
The majestic Skógafoss is located on Skógá River in southern Iceland. It’s one of the biggest waterfalls in the country, and one of the most beautiful — just look at it! It has a massive drop of 62 meters, and you can walk right up to it, just be prepared to get a little wet. On sunny days you’ll catch views of the most spectacular rainbows. The best way to see Skógafoss is on a tour of the Golden Circle, which includes other sites like Gullfloss (yet another beautiful waterfall), the incredible Þingvellir national park, and so much more.
