Even tho we saw our first snowfall last night, 😱 the leaves are still beautiful here and sure will brighten your view with your morning coffee, of course.

Another day, another bistro in Holmes County!

Can you believe this building used to be a Burger King? 🤯
The decor and accents are spot on. Also love that it has the option to sit at the counter (for those in a hurry to get a seat).

Check out their menu!
I had the sunshine skillet and a friend had the breakfast sandwich.
Next on the list to try are the eggs Benedict variety’s and the stuffed French toast! ✨

Happy Mother’s Day weekend!
Honoring all the hard working moms that have done so much for us without always getting a thank-you or recognition. We are grateful and you made a difference!

Practical gifts are great for her, but really what about a getaway (she might not buy for typically buy herself) that encourages rest and creates memories that last a lifetime?

You may even find complimentary flowers on the front porch.

Also recognizing those of you that dread this weekend and the hurt and/or reminder of unmet dreams that it brings. It’s ok to give yourself and your heart space.

April 1st The Farm at Walnut Creek opened their doors for the season! Another reason to visit Amish Country.

🌷📣 We are excited to announce our opening today will be this Saturday, April 1st! It’s been a long winter but we’re ready to have our guests back to see the animals! 📣 🌷

When remodeling the cabin, we converted a closet inside the front door to a spot for dropping your jackets, shoes, purses and shopping bags. 👜🛍️

…With out the outdated, bulky sliding doors. 🚪

A sweet, new coffee shop and creamery opened up recently near us. (12 min from The Cabin)

On my first visit; macarons, healthy donuts, coffee cake, and cheesecake were available.
Did I mention the macarons?
The lemon 🍋 was perfect and bursting w flavor!

We recently had the chance to try out the new dining option for Holmes County. 🧑🏼‍🍳
Chef Artis takes pride in not only creating a tasteful dish but also presenting it in an attractive way.
