❄️Ride for a Cause with the Northern Timber Cruisers!

This Saturday, January 25, join the Snowball Run for Cancer Care and Research! The event starts at 9 AM, but come early for breakfast—the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club kitchen opens at 7 AM, serving up a delicious start to your day.

Be part of the fun, hit the trails, and support an amazing cause. Join the club and make a difference!

Have you ever wondered how plants and animals survive in a snow-covered landscape and freezing temperatures? Interested in trying or improving your snowshoeing? Reserve your spot on our Snowshoe Adventure today!

Saturday, February 15th at 10:30 am on the north end, we will host a snowshoe adventure! Learn about some of the amazing adaptations that plants and animals have for this challenging season while we snowshoe through the monument to explore the winter ecology of our area!

Reservation required, but the program is free and family friendly! Snowshoes provided, if needed.

🌟 Vacation Camp is back for its 4th year! 🌟 Join us during February break for four days of exciting community- and nature-based programming, created for local students in grades 2–5. Vacation Camp offers hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and plenty of fun to make school break unforgettable. Best of all, this program is free! Stay tuned—registration opens in early February, and spots fill up quickly!

This program is a collaboration with Katahdin Gear Library, Outdoor Sport Institute, Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, Millinocket Memorial Library and many generous volunteers!
