Tomorrow, 2330 incredible runners will be conquering the scenic course of the Millinocket Marathon & Half, representing all 16 Maine counties and bringing the heat from 42 states across the USA! That's not all – we're going global with participants from Canada, Brazil, Italy, and the Netherlands joining the action. 🌍

Shoutout to the top ten cities leading the charge: Portland, Bangor, Orono, Millinocket, Brunswick, Scarborough, South Portland, Hampden, Old Town, and Boston! 👟

Age is just a number, and this marathon proves it! From our youngest competitor at 10 to our most seasoned runner at 83. 🏅

Special shoutout to the six runners celebrating their race day birthdays – talk about a memorable way to spend your special day! 🎈

Snowmobile trails are in really great early season conditions, and we highly suggest you get out and ride in the Katahdin Region this weekend!

GROOMING UPDATES:
The Twin Pines Snowmobile Club out of NEOC has groomed the following trails on 1/17/23:
- ITS 85/86 to Grant Brook to New B-Pond Trail - Good condition, shared use on eastern 3 miles. Stay on sled shelf.

Ungroomed Trail Conditions:
- 85/86 Pole Line: Thin snow cover - rideable - extreme caution!
- 85/86 - Stacyville Rd to Whetstone: Some shared use sections. Rideable - use caution! HEAVY TRUCKING.
- 85/86 - State Rd to Hurd Pond: Good condition.
- 112 Connector - Logan Pond: Good condition.
- 112 Connector - Stratton: Passable - use caution!
- Wild Kingdom: Passable - use caution!
- 111 South Twin Connector to Brownville Rd: Shared use - passable - limit speed!
- Town Trails: To be determined.

River Drivers Restaurant is open Thursday through Monday from 11am - 9pm with lunch and dinner, gas, oil, and other retail needs! Located less 1.5 miles off of ITS 85/86 Pole Line.
Knife Edge Brewing is open seven days a week from 11am - 9pm with amazing wood fired pizza and delicious craft brews! Located less than a mile off of ITS 85/86 Pole Line.
