The largest turtle I ever help cross the road. Alligator snapping turtles are endangered and protected in florida. This guy/gal was in a bromative state and very lethargic. About 2 1/2 ft long. I was very intimidated luckily a alligator handler came right behind me. Together we made sure he got across safe.
