Fishing Jack Crevalle in the gulf has never been a species that has sparked much attention from most anglers.. Butt, put an 11wt fly rod in your hand and get that fly to peak the interest of these guys and you’ll see just how much fun you have been missing out on. Captain @bazyelverton here putting in the work with a push pole in 8ft of water. Seen here riding the poling platform in a foot of chop and heavy current to keep us on the fish and get the job done.

The trip that shouldn’t have happened.
But…
Lauren got cleared from the hospital and �on January 21st we flew into a snow globe and hit the ground running. We had ski passes, a jeep, cameras, drones and empty memory cards.�� We were out to see what the number one resort in America was all about. ��What we found was that it felt like going back in time, in the best way possible. Like time almost slowed down. We never found a bumping après scene or a multitude of shops you may be used to in most crowded ski towns.
We enjoyed lamb on the grill and red wine in the hot tub instead!
Eden is a laid back, Western mountain town with no stop light, three coffee shops, zero bars, maybe three restaurants and one local village grocery store.
Deer and turkeys roam the streets and neighborhoods more than people. Your mail even has to be picked up at the post office in the town. The girls there knew us by name pretty quickly!
There is no doubt that nature is medicine, but the fresh mountain air combined with a town like this with little to zero distractions was just what the doctor ordered.
Hope you get to experience it.
