Have you heard of the Oregon Battle of the Books? The Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries in conjunction with a Library Services and Technology Act grant. Students in 3rd-12th grade, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. Ardenwald elementary has participated in this annual event for years and has provided books for students to read. We are looking to provide teachers with a full set of books this year. If you have the means, please consider donating to this wonderful opportunity for children in our community! Link in bio!

Are you interested in helping out at events this school year? Getting to know other families, kids, and parents? Using some of your special skills to enrich our school community? We would love to have you join or PTO team. We are planning new events and setting up new committees. All are welcome! Grandparents, moms, dads, guardians. If you care about your Ardenwald student you can make a difference! We will be at the neighborhood concert at Ardenwald park tonight if you would like to stop by and sign up for our first informational meeting! We will also have information available at back to school night on August 29th from 5-7!

Who is ready to bid on these fantastic baskets?! Tomorrow is the big day. Come bid on an entire room full of wonderful items 2-5:30 at Ardenwald! There will be live music, karaoke, face painting, a Photo Booth, KONA Ice,& more! ⭐️
